FRONT FORK REVALVE
Fork revalving involves complete disassembly of the entire front fork. All parts are put through a three-step cleaning process involving two wash tanks, a final rinse with brake cleaner and blown dry with compressed air. The compresson and rebound circuits are disassembled and inspected. Pistons and valve specifications are then selected based on rider weight, type of riding and model of fork. Spring rates are also selected based on the same criteria. All parts are then given a final inspection and damping cartridges are then re-assembled. The remaining fork parts, sliders, bushings, tubes, etc. are also inspected for wear and damage and replaced if needed.
Forks are then assembled with new seals and fresh oil. Spring pre-load and damping adjustments are set to our baseline settings. When you receive your revalved forks, they are ready to be installed. Fine tune adjustments can be made after riding. |
